Raspberry seeds produce a valuable fruity oil high in antioxidants and essential fatty acids that neutralize free radicals preserving the skin’s youth. Raspberry seeds have a 22%-25% content of unsaturated oils & fatty acids and also contain antioxidants such as Vitamin E and carotenoids. 10 kg of these small, light seeds are needed to obtain 1 kg of the costly oil.
Trifolium Pratense (Red Clover) Leaf Extract
A key attribute of red clover is its important skin regenerating abilities. This botanical is an antioxidant-rich herb used to treat premature skin aging by neutralizing free radicals and encouraging the natural process of cellular renewal. A complex extract of the whole red clover plant containing isoflavones, among other things, is used in Dr.Hauschka Skin Care products.
