Witch Hazel distillate, or hydrosol, is rich in water soluble compounds that have a cleansing, clarifying, slightly antiseptic and activating effect on an impure skin condition. The distillate also assists the skin’s moisture balance process, encouraging the skin to restore and maintain its own moisture. Witch Hazel hydrosol also soothes while strengthening the skin’s barrier function, making the skin less reactive.
